Most Awaited Shows in January 2023 on Netflix
1. Kaleidoscope: Season 1 (1 January)
If you loved Money Heist, chances are you’re going to love Kaleidoscope. The premise is straightforward. A master thief and his crew attempt an ambitious heist worth 7 billion USD.
But the threat of betrayal, greed and outside elements undermine the value of their plans. The trailer is highly promising. Check it out here.
2. The Pale Blue Eye (6 January)
The show is set in West Point in 1830. In the early hours of Winter morning, a cadet is found dead. The tragedy becomes even worse when the body is brought to the morgue and it’s discovered that the heart is removed skillfully.
The leaders of the town go to a local detective for help, Augustus Landor (played by Christian Bale) to find the murderer. The plot sounds super interesting, and, as always can’t wait to see what Christian Bale has to bring to the screen.
3. Vikings Valhalla: Season 2 (January 12)
Finally, after a long wait, season 2 of the Vikings Valhalla is dropping in January on Netflix. Fans have complained about how long it took Netflix to drop another season.
In this sequel to Vikings, 1 hundred years have passed and a completely new generation of heroes is here to forge their destiny.
4. The ‘90s Show: Season 1 (January 9)
Those who watched and loved “The ‘70s Show” can’t wait for this one to drop. If The ‘90s Show can manage to bring even 20% of the original show’s charisma, it’s going to stay on TV for a long time.
In this spinoff, Kitty and Red Forman welcome a new generation of teens in their basement when their granddaughter Leia decides to spend the summers in Wisconsin.
5. You People (January 27)
You People has a really interesting premise. Even if you’re planning not to watch it, we recommend you at least watch the trailer first.
The plot of the show is based on two L.A. Millennials from two different families that come from two different cultures and backgrounds. The two millennials have to do the toughest thing possible, “meeting each other’s parents”.
